As a young editor establishing my career, leadership skills, and confidence, the Emerging Leader’s Workshop has been a crucial asset in my toolkit. 

In just one day, Chris, Di and Margie covered the essential elements of leadership, management and confidence building with easily digestible presentations and content, plus valuable take-home resources. Each module was considered and well-researched, anchored around both theoretical and real-life information, and delivered in an engaging way. 

Yet, it’s the space Chris, Di and Margie create for passionate emerging female leaders that makes this workshop like nothing I’d attended before. Their ability to make a group of ‘strangers’ become a community is world-class, fostering a safe space for open, honest discussion that can be greatly enlightening when discussing professional environments/situations.

Being back in a ‘classroom’ (but with much more elegant interiors!) was so refreshing — learning and connecting with others, without any of the pressure or unease that comes with typical school-like settings. Natural empaths, our facilitators understood how to tailor the discourse so that everyone felt comfortable, nurturing individuals when needed to encourage that confidence when the time was right. 

Returning to the office following the Emerging Leader’s Workshop, I felt inspired, motivated and empowered to embrace my leadership wholly and action tasks and conversations I’d been ‘afraid’ of. The workshop grounded me — a welcome reminder of my purpose and belonging at work. 

I highly recommend this workshop for individuals looking to up-skill and find their place in their areas of passion of expertise, and to seize this opportunity as a catalyst for reaching their full potential.
